As the Head of East Coast Partnership Joint Performance, you will take ownership of creating & embedding a collaborative approach to improving performance in line with the strategic vision of the East Coast Partnership (LNER & Network Rail).
This industry leading partnership role will define the joint East Coast Performance partnership, directing delivery, senior stakeholder management, and guiding cross business teams through change, empowering teams to ensure the LNER & Network Rail Performance Partnership delivers even more performance improvement; across both train & track (new world joined up approach right there...!).
With the customer at the heart of everything we do we need to ensure that ‘putting the passenger first’ is pragmatically aligned across both LNER & Network Rail to bring the great work we both do closer together to exceed our wonderful customers expectations.
We are looking to achieve a high reliability reputation, breaking the mould of the railway perception & meeting expectation, delivering a service that runs on time, all the time.

Your experience in leading large, complex cross functional / business teams would be great, we believe this role will offer you the opportunity to influence across 2 of the best known business in the rail industry & the DfT. You’ll be an expert in building effective, lasting relationships, both strategically & operationally, with a broad sense of thinking across the railway.
This railway experience will help us with the extensive interpretation of industry specific compliance & technical understanding needed to make this work; backed up with astute commercial awareness.
