Now we are LNER (London North Eastern Railway) we have some new & exciting projects to deliver & the key focus is customer experience – the heartbeat of our business.
This new role will key assisting, planning, co-ordination and delivery of Customer Experience Strategy team projects. You’ll have the opportunity to influence across the business, building effective relationships with both customer experience colleagues and cross functionally, in order to support the delivery of customer beneficial projects & clear benefits to the business.
The emphasis is on Project Delivery and the experience you’ll bring to the team in this field - ensuring that projects are well defined and scoped, with clear deliverables and that trackers and delivery plans are robust and shared / reported on accordingly.
Your project delivery will ultimately enhance the customer experience using key data & workstreams to help you develop exciting & innovative solutions, here’s where your influence comes in... you’ll have experience pushing these projects out to a complex business with the ability to understand key stakeholders & really sell the huge benefits our customer experience projects have, engaging front line teams through to Directors.
All the above sounds great doesn’t it...? Of course, as with an integral role, there are a few “must haves”...
You must have demonstrable experience in project delivery in a fast paced complex business. Showing excellent understanding of business objectives and key customer experience areas of focus and opportunity. This also includes industry awareness with the ability to identify issues, themes and subsequent best practice solutions.
If you hold a Prince 2 or suitable project management qualification that would also be great!
As with all successful Project Managers, we need someone who can work independently but can quickly integrate into the customer experience team seamlessly with the right level of motivation and ability to work proactively, demonstrating initiative but appreciative of effective teamwork and delegation.
You’ll be an advocate for the right changes, leading on implementation & coaching sharing the same passion as we do for all things customer experience!
